It's been a record year for Lockdales' auctions, in all respects.
Total sales through our auctions in 2024 = £5.4 million. 31 auctions held, 21870 lots sold. Highlights have included a Welsh sampler for £5200 hammer; a Delhi Durbar boxing gold medal for £5600; SAS medal groups up to £5800; an Anschütz Tachyscope for £4200; Beatles autographs for £5200; a proof Gothic Crown for £12,000; the log book of HMS Defiance for £4000; a high grade Korean 100 Hwan note for £5800; a Cunobelin gold stater for £4000; a GV Osborne House fireman's parade helmet for £3600; a Phoebe 28 March 1814 bar NGS for £9000, and many others.
