CIGARETTE & TRADE CARDS
We've dealt with the dispensation of many large estate collections of cigarette and trade cards, achieving world-class results. Of particular interest in recent years have been sports cards, especially football, golf, cricket, boxing and baseball. Some makers are much scarcer than others. We once sold what's considered the rarest set of all: Clowns and Circus Artistes by Taddy, for £9700. Cards most prized by collectors are those that were kept loose, or ‘tipped in’ to albums without adhesive. Those which were glued in to albums are worth significantly less.
