21st February 2018 Fine Sale of jewellery, watches, art and antiques achieved total
sales of £211,344
845 lots were offered. Highlights among the results were £22,000 hammer for the Rolex Submariner c.1965, and £7200 hammer for the Omega Speedmaster 1967/8. The dealers' lots of jewellery were fiercely contested. Attendance at the auction was high. A small collection of Evelyn Waugh signed letters and postcards went for £1350 hammer, against an estimate of £200 to £300. There were many other sleeper lots including a bulk lot of dolls house furniture (estimate £50 - £80) hammer £1600 !
